What is E-SICW?
The e-SICW CIDBH is an electronic learning (e-learning) platform for the Safety Induction for Construction Worker course (SICW).
The Safety Induction Construction Worker (SICW) course is an awareness course that aims to expose construction personnel to the importance of occupational safety and health aspects of the construction site environment.
The SICW course is also the prerequisite for registering the CIDB Construction Personnel Registration program (Kad Hijau CIDB).

Programme Structure?
Self Learning and Self Assessment
Self Learning
The Participant who intends to take the E-ISCW CIDBH Course dows not require to present himself at training center for the course. They can go online at any time at their own convenience.
Self Assessment
Once the self learning session completed, the participant able to proceed for the second stages of the e-SICW couse, the Self-Assessment stage.
For better understanding, the course has been designed into an infographic video with the vocal background. There are 7 types of languages to choose from such as Malay, English, Indonesian, Mandarin, Bengali, Urdu and Burmese.
- Participants have a selection of devices to choose such as smartphones / laptops / PC / tablets to access the course.
- Participants shall watch and learn all modules within fourteen (14) days from the date they received the email for the activation link.
- Learning period: Within 14 days from the activation date (link received)

List of learning modules:
It is conducted online and can be logged-in at any time within 14 days after the assessment link is activated in the system.
- The participant shall undergo the self-assessment using devices such as smartphones, PC, laptops or tablets.
- The objective of the self-assessment is to test the understanding and knowledge gained by participants during self-learning sessions.
- The time provided is one (1) hour and the participant must complete all 40 objective questions at their convenience.
- If failed, the participant is allowed to take a re-test for one (1) time, which can be done after 60 minutes or within given fourteen (14) days.
- Learning link are still active within the particular period if the participant would like to make revisions before proceeding to re-test.
- Passing marks for this assessment is 50 % and each participant should be able to receive their results promptly and once passed, an e-certificate shall be generated in CIDBLINK to be downloaded for record keeping.
